+## Ingredients
+
+- Salmon fillets (can be skin on or skin off)
+- Grape seed oil (or olive oil)
+- Salt & Pepper (to taste)
+- Thyme (optional, to taste)
+- Basil (optional, to taste)
+- 1-2 Lemon(s) (sliced)
+
+## Directions
+
+1. Prepare the grill for direct cooking over high heat, 450°F-550°F. Brush the cooking grates clean and close the lid to heat.
+2. Generously coat the flesh side (if skin on, both sides if skin off) of the salmon fillets with oil.
+   1. Season evenly with kosher salt and black pepper, as well as any other optional herbs.
+3. Squeeze a small amount of lemon juice from the lemon onto the fillets.
+4. If skin on: Grill skin side down with lid closed for 6-8 minutes or until the fish lightens in color.
+   1. Then flip the salmon over and grill at 130°F for 2-4 minutes for medium-rare or longer until desired doneness.
